The oils and lotions that are on our skin do not mix with water, therefore clogging the filtration system. Special enzymes can be used in your pool to help break these oils down

Heaters need protection - Many pools in Texas are equipped with either gas heaters or heat pumps for cooler months. Either system needs to be protected from metal staining that can happen to your pool’s surface when the water circulates through the internal heater components

Calcium Hardness is just as important as Chlorine and pH - scaling can occur when Calcium Hardness is too high and can result in cloudy water, rough surfaces, and heater inefficiency. Corrosive water can occur when calcium hardness is too low and can cause etching of plaster, grout dissolving or concrete pitting

Always test your water source - know the chemistry of the water that you are using to refill your pool, as it will need to be balanced to maintain a healthy pool
